MSI P4N SLI 3.3 Driver
The box art is very elegant and tasteful. Board Layout The overall layout of the board was well thought out with only a few exceptions.
The extra Molex power connector, on the other hand, is positioned in a place that will require careful cable management to prevent having wires draped directly over the CPU HSF, which is far from ideal. Even pumping up the voltage to the MSI P4N SLI 3.3 didn't do any good at all.
The Bad The K8N SLI had the kind of design quality that MSI has exhibited in all their recent boards so much so that there wasn't really anything we particularly disliked about MSI P4N SLI 3.3 board. If we were to nitpick, there were probably only one or two minor issues that came to attention.
MSI P4N SLI 3.3 the board had undergone some slight alterations in design to accommodate two extra PCIe x1 slots, the row of expansion slots seemed to be slightly cramped. The SLI switch card on the board has an extremely unforgiving clearance space. One of the minor problems with the board is the location of the Southbridge right below the second PCIe x16 slot.
However, this functionality does not free additional space on the PCB it's rather on the contrary — the gap between PCIEx16 slots is occupied by the switching unit. Another feature of the new motherboard not as evident as the two PCIEx16 slots: This controller is used in Creative Sound MSI P4N SLI 3.3 Live! That is, this motherboard is actually equipped with an excellent sound card MSI P4N SLI 3.3 to the number of ins and outs!
I would also like to mention such functions as an external hard drive connection e- SATA, two gigabit controllers and Dual Net Card to implement two radio interfaces: No wonder that such suffix as Platinum or, perish the thought, shabby Gold is not enough for this motherboard: MSI calls this motherboard a diamond model.
Taking into account the initial estimated price of about — USD probably only for the basic bundle! The only unusual thing about the PCB layout is the two graphics slots and an MSI P4N SLI 3.3 space between them.
On-board elements certainly have to squash up due to the rich functions of the motherboard:
