If you want to get additional help with the presets, you'll have to get it from their website. I'd like to see Thrustmaster add this to the provided CD -it's a convenience thing.
With each baseline backhand and every forehand smash it reminded me of the good ole days when me and LAZ would tag team a certain Robsta with his partner Bad Attitude! The majority of game time spent was in the cockpit of CFS2.

The stick reacted as anyone would expect, as was the vibration Good thing it didn't literally shock me --as the box description states! Even though the vibrations won't forcefully rock your world, they did an efficient job in duplicating each flying effect. Also, it wasn't garbled or run together. In other words, the joystick did not continuously rumble from start to finish.
Each time I shot or got shot at, the force was distinct and precise.
The thing that shock will not give you, is the feeling you get with true forcefeedback sticks. Remember, this is vibration not tug and pull forcefeedback. If your looking for true forcefeedback, look somewhere else.

This stick is more geared for the gamer looking for something more than what's offered with a standard non FF stick and a bit less than one that offers true FF. You know, like the kind of FF that tries to rip the stick Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro Shock Joystick your hands! Therefore some of the advantages of flying with FF are lost.
All in all, I was pleased on how the Fox Shock handled itself. Each action, whether I was shooting or getting shot at, seemed a tad bit different and lead to a pleasant and mild experience.

This thing was dialed from the get go! The joystick spring tensioner located on the bottom of the base provides a variety of tension settings and the large base with the rubber pads kept er' stable on my desk top while gaming. The vibration motor is located in the stick itself assuring accurate response time.
There's also a 6' cord - USB. Also adding the twist control was a much needed addition as compared to the TGF2P. Functionality after hours upon hours of hours remains to be seen, however, Thrustmaster has always stood behind their products.
Therefore I see no reason to believe why that would change. Thrustmaster has a good thing going in the Fox 2 Pro line of joysticks. The added colors give it a new look but it's basically the same as the TGF2P without the flip up button cover.

Which is why I think T-Master should do something a bit different. Add some lights, change the shape a bit. Be creative but don't sacrifice stability in doing so. This thing has a nice weight to it and sits in place for the majority of game time. The USB-based stick's main selling feature is Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro Shock Joystick built-in force feedback motors.
They cause the Pro Shock to shake, rattle and roll in games compatible with Immersion's TouchSense technology, which has become the defacto standard for force-feedback in the gaming industry. Joysticks using previous generations of force feedback technology were largely a waste of time, in my view. They basically buzzed and bucked a bit and didn't add much to the gaming experience.

Even though they draw all their power from the USB port, the motors can crank right up to simulate explosions or turbulence rocking your aircraft. They can also hum away gently to make the stick feel like it's picking up engine vibrations. It adds a whole new dimension to flight simulators and dogfights. It has the standard index-finger trigger and thumb-activate fire buttons, but adds a range of other options, too.

There's a second thumb button and a thumb activated eight-way HAT that looks like a tiny joystick you can program it for things like looking out of different sides of the cockpit in flight simulators, or for control maneuvers in games that require you to manage movements in multiple axes, such as Descent 3. A unique little button on the top of the stick is activated with the knuckle of your index finger.
The only weakness I found was that this button tends to Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro Shock Joystick pressed accidentally if you clench the joystick or when you tense your hand to activate the thumb buttons. Placed a little further towards the outside of the joystick's upper flange, it would be perfect.
There are three more programmable buttons on the joystick's base, and a throttle slider that has a deep groove so your thumb won't slip off it.
